At Full Function Chiropractic, we strive to provide up-to-date, scientific, and patient specific treatments for the Williamsport and surrounding communities. Our goal is to get you feeling better, and back to doing what you love, as soon as possible; whether it’s mowing the grass, playing with your grandkids, or getting back to work. If you’re not happy, we’re not happy.
For those of you unfamiliar with chiropractic care, it is a hands on, non-invasive form of health care that focuses on disorders of the nervous and musculoskeletal systems. Common conditions benefited by chiropractic care include, but are not limited to, back pain, neck pain, headaches, tingling/numbness in the arms or legs, sprains/strains, shoulder pain, hip pain, and muscle spasms.
Doctors of Chiropractic utilize detailed patient examinations, including orthopedic tests, postural assessment, and muscle and joint palpation, to diagnosis and treat musculoskeletal complaints. Chiropractors have broad diagnostic skills and are trained to recommend therapeutic and rehabilitative exercises, as well as to provide nutritional, dietary and lifestyle counseling. In fact, one of our main objectives, at Full Function Chiropractic, is to equip you with some basic home management “tools.” Knowing what to do at home not only helps to hasten your recovery, but also decreases your dependence on care should you experience similar pain in the future.
Along with chiropractic manipulation, we also offer therapeutic modalities, such as “Cold” Laser, Acoustic (Radial) Shockwave Therapy, Ultrasound, Kinesio Taping, Custom Orthotics, Sequential Compression Boots, Electric Stimulation, and IASTM, to speed recovery. If you are not considered a chiropractic candidate, following examination, a referral will be made to the appropriate specialist/facility.
